Dear Reader,
Yes that is an Elf quote in the title you see. :]
Today was such a blessing. I rolled out of bed and just felt that it would be. Things threatened it a few times, but it couldn't be anything less than good. A crazy wasp almost attacked me this morning and a spider almost did last night, but they both escaped.. Good thing too, I hate them both! (sorry for the randomness)
Although a lot happened today I will fill you in on some of it.
This morning I had such a wonderful time with the Lord and learned so much. I was able to just sit and pray and reflect and carry it with me. I can't wait to reflect more after I post this. I wish I had time like that every day- hopefully I will from now on! Then I got a job opportunity from Tyler Loveless to work at US Bank! I also turned in my daycare app as well! So that's looking up. Then I got some opportunities to serve tomorrow morning. Cleaning and painting- two things I love to do most!! (I know I'm weird, but don't judge!) Lastly, I met up with Jackie Krueger and had such inspiring conversation. It's wonderful to see someone so in love with Jesus and to talk about Him as we did.
Still, I have something I'm eager to share with you, Reader. Last night I was at Melissa's house, a woman I help with WLSC and she was telling me about her new neighbor. She said the woman just moved in her apartment complex from Iowa and had to up and leave, taking only necessities with her. She said that the woman had almost NOTHING with her when she arrived, so her and her kids helped her. The woman has three kids under age three, so they gathered toys they didn't play with and extra furniture to give to her. Mind you, Reader, this woman has barely anything to live by herself! Yet, she gave so graciously to this woman and loved her so well. I was reminded of the early church in Acts immediately. How everyone gave generously to anyone in need so that none had any needs not being met and all lived well. Melissa encompassed this so well! It made me so proud and in awe of God working in her!
God is so good Reader. There's so many things I could tell you of how He is loving me and those around you. This is only one of many stories I've been experiencing. Be encouraged and carry on!
Chelsy.
