Reader,
I have had one of those days! Luckily, I didn't die from frustration, but I was close!
I went to Walmart today (and finally practiced good self-control in my buying habits- amen!) and afterwards I headed to the Goodwill in search of a backpack. Well, to my delight there was a perfectly awesome backpack. It was $7 and in perfect condition! Or so I thought. I went home and after my exciting process of putting all of my things in their according pockets I came to find that the largest pouch had a broken zipper. This wasn't going to stop my commitment to this backpack, considering I already loved it (broken zipper or not).
The zipper was only stuck on the fabric- an easy fix, I thought. As I figured out the solution to the problem I became proud of myself. I soon saw the error of my pride. One of the two zippers was completely detached from one side, however the second zipper worked fine. That is, until I actually zipped it up, when I saw that it wasn't correctly zipping my beloved backpack. I settled and looked pretty silly I would imagine. Still, this had to be better than carried around my overly full and underly padded adventure bag (don't ask about the name, that's just what it is).
So then another problem occurs. I get to Picasso's (did I forget to mention my lack of internet in my dorm? That's another story we won't get to for the sake of not reliving my frustration.) and sit down and suddenly my mouse stops working. My friend then points out to me there's a handy button that initiates this, and my frustration seemed more like stupidity at this point.
That is a glimpse into my day, Reader. I won't go into anymore details for the sake of being boring, but as you can see it has been 'no bueno'.
Aside from that I have been learning some deeply impacting truths. I feel like I'm seeing more of God's heart for us in glimpses here and there. I'll tell you about it more in depth, Reader, when I feel like I can properly communicate it to you. Maybe it will be in song. :]
Chelsy.
